Zipporah was the daughter of Jethro and the wife of Moses.
Biography[]
Zipporah was born in Midian, the daughter of the Bedouin sheikh Jethro and the sister of Lulua and others. In 1531 BC, as Zipporah and her sisters watered their flock of sheep, Zipporah discovered Moses passed out in the shrubs, having been exiled from Egypt. Moses defended the women from Amalekites who attempted to steal their water, and, when Jethro arrived and discovered what had happened, he gave Zipporah to Moses as his wife. She bore him Gershom and Eliezer.
