Zhuge Ke (203-253), also known as Zhuge Luo, was a minister of Wu. The oldest son of Zhuge Jin, he was respected by Sun Quan for his intelligence. He seized power as grand teacher after the death of Lu Xun in 245. He managed to defeat Wei when they attacked, but lost popularity when Wu and Shu failed in their attack against Wei. He was assassinated by Sun Jun while planning another invasion of Wei, as the people of Wu were opposed to another costly campaign, as well as Zhuge Ke's crackdown on opponents of his rule as regent.
