Zakharias III of Makuria (850-930) was the king of Makuria from 866 to 930, succeeding Georgios I of Makuria and preceding Kabil of Makuria.
Biography[]
Zakharias was born in 850, and he was from the Miaphysite Christian House of Azim. He succeeded his father Georgios I of Makuria as king of Makuria on his death in 866, and he reigned until his death in 930, a reign of 64 years. He died at the age of 80 in 930, and his son Kabil of Makuria succeeded him.
