Zadock Cook (18 February 1769-3 August 1863) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-GA) from 2 December 1816 to 3 March 1819, succeeding Alfred Cuthbert and preceding John Alfred Cuthbert.

Biography[]

Zadock Cook was born in Virginia in 1769, and he settled in Hancock County, Georgia early in life and became one of Clarke County's first white settlers. He served in the State House from 1806 to 1807 and in 1822, in the State Senate from 1810 to 1814 and from 1823 to 1824, and in the US House of Representatives from 1816 to 1819, and he died at his Watkinsville plantation in 1863.
