
The ZSU-57-2 is a Soviet self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that entered service in the USSR in 1955 and worldwide in 1957. The ZSU was used in combat for the first time in during the Vietnam War, during which it was used by the Vietnam People's Army for its 1972 "Easter Offensive". It also saw action in the Six-Day War and in the Yom Kippur War as a Syrian and Egyptian vehicle, in the Lebanese Civil War as a Syrian vehicle, in the Iran-Iraq War as both an Iraqi and Iranian vehicle, in the Gulf War and Iraq War under Ba'athist Iraq, during the Yugoslav Wars as a Yugoslav People's Army vehicle, and during the Syrian Civil War under the Syrian government.
