Yusuf al-Madani (died 18 November 2009) was a leader of the Houthis in Yemen.
Biography[]
Al-Madani was a field commander of the Houthis and brother of Taha al-Madani, a fellow commander. He married the daugher of Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, signifying his loyalty to the cause. In 2005, during "Phase Two" of the Yemeni Army offensive, al-Madani was wounded, and in 2007 he retaliated by leading attack on Yemeni government troops.
He was killed on 18 November 2009 alongside Abu Haider and Abbas Aaida.
