Yuki Natsume in 2006

Yuki Natsume (1967-) was a Japanese hostess and businesswoman who was best known for her hosting at Club Sunshine during the 1980s and 1990s and for her ownership of Club Four Shine in Osaka during the 2000s.

Biography[]

Yuki Natsume was born in Osaka, Japan in 1967. She had trouble finding a job due to her reserved and honest nature, but, one day, Kunio Youda found a dejected Natsume sitting by herself in a park and offered her a job as a hostess at Club Sunshine. She became the number-one hostess at her cabaret club, although it was in a state of decline until Youda enlisted the help of the yakuza Goro Majima in defeating the "Five Stars" of Dotonbori's cabaret club scene. Majima and Youda both condescended towards Natsume due to her childlike behavior, but she grew to be a highly-skilled hostess. Over the years, she became a legendary hostess, but her former coworker Natsuo Kanzaki forced her and Youda out of Club Sunshine by taking advantage of the club's substantial loan debts and buying them out. Yuki and Youda cofounded Club Four Shine, but Kanzaki's quest to bring all of Osaka's clumbs under the thumb of his Kanzaki Group led to Youda seemingly defecting to Kanzaki's corporation. In December 2006, after Mitsunari Kiritani was bribed into joining Kanzaki's corporation as he was about to be interviewed for the job of Club Four Shine's new manager, Natsume and her hostess Koyuki Sasaki persuaded the yakuza Kazuma Kiryu, whom they initially mistook for Kiritani, to become their new manager. Kiryu helped manage the club through a successful night, with Yuki doubling as a hostess. Kiryu helped the club to compete in the Cabaret Club Grand Prix, and Youda returned to the club after thwarting Kanzaki's attempt to kidnap Koyuki, while Youda also persuaded Majima to return and help protect the club. Majima and the hostesses of Club Four Shine persuaded Yuki to return to hosting, while Youda returned to serving as the club's general manager. With Kiryu's help, the club won the Grand Prix and drove Kanzaki out of business. After years of success with Club Four Shine, Yuki and Koyuki went on to leave Club Four Shine and start a sushi restaurant.
