Yoichi Kamoji

Yoichi Kamoji was a Japanese "punchout artist" who lived in Kabukicho, Tokyo, Japan during the 1980s. He lived on the streets as a homeless person, but he made a living as a martial arts trainer at the Shichifuku Parking Lot, charging visitors entry fees and paying them back double the fee if they could land a single punch on him. On 10 December 1988, he beat up the debt collector Bruno Tobe without being struck once, protecting his friend Bacchus from those who attempted to collect on his extensive debts. Bacchus then introduced Kamoji to the yakuza Kazuma Kiryu, and Kamoji invited Kiryu to meet him at his parking lot sometime in order to home Kiryu's martial arts skills.
