
Yang Huai (?-212) was a vassal of Liu Zhang and Governor General of Bai Shui Guan. Yang Huai plotted with his colleague Gao Pei to kill Liu Bei, but the plot was discovered before its completion, and he was captured and executed by Liu Bei.
Biography[]
Yang Huai was a vassal of Liu Zhang, the Prefect of Yi Province (present-day Szechwan, China). Yang Huai was the Governor of Bai Shui Guan, and during Liu Bei's invasion of Bashu in 212-214, Yang Huai and his colleague Gao Pei pretended to surrender to Liu Bei as a part of a plot. However, they ambushed him, and they were both slain by Liu Bei himself.
