Yamu

Yamu, now known as Kom el-Hisn, was a nome capital of Ptolemaic Egypt and a town located in the Nile Delta region of northern Egypt. Built to support a temple to Hathor, it played a major role in the transportation of cattle. It was famous for its yearly festival of Sekhmet, recreating the fight between Sekhmet and Isfet.
