
Xiahou Cheng (219-263) was the eldest son of Xiahou Ba and a general of Wei and Shu. Born in Hanzhong where his father was stationed, his first battle was fighting at the Siege of Xiangping against Gongsun Yuan in 238 AD, and fought against Jiang Wei's Northern Expeditions until 249. At that point, he and his father defected to Shu, and he was executed when Shu fell in 263 a year after his father's death.
