Alexander "Xander" Haverfoek (born 1968 - died November 2019), also known as The Fixer, was a Thailand-Netherlandian dual citizen, and a self-proclaimed ambassador for Sweden embassies in Morocco in the late 2010's. Unbeknowst to anyone, he was also a highly prolific fixer who was involved in Morocco's underground smuggling scene.

Biography[]

Xander Haverfoek was born in 1968 in either Thailand or Netherlands to a Netherlandian father and a Thai mother, and because of this, he was considered a dual citizen of both Thailand and the Netherlands. At some point in his life, he met Lucas Þorvaldsson, who would later work for him as an assistant courier, and moved to Marrakesh, Morocco, where he would become involved with the Swedish consulate, eventually proclaiming himself the "ambassador" of Sweden.

At some point in his life, he became a fixer - someone who is assigned or contracted to solve problems for others. He quickly became involved with multiple individuals of dubious character, one of these being Swedish banker Claus Hugo Strandberg, and Serbian gunrunner Vito Đurić. He became especially involved with Strandberg, specializing in dealing with issues that the banker does not wish to involve himself in.

Sometime around 2019, Strandberg came into the possession of a bag of conflict diamonds from Zimbabwe, and had plans to move them out of Marrakesh. However, since he couldn't do it himself, he employed Haverfoek's services in order to get this done. Since Xander was a skilled covert operator, and wouldn't have handled them himself, he employed Lucas' services in order to transport these diamonds.

Agent 47 was dispatched to eliminate Haverfoek and retrieve the diamonds. He arrived in Marrakesh a few months before Strandberg's assassination, killed Haverfoek, and retrieved the diamonds.
