Wuffa Death-Boon

Wuffa Death-Boon (died 876) was an Order of the Ancients zealot in East Anglia, England during the late 9th century AD.

Biography[]

Lithe and agile, Wuffa preferred only to wound her targets, as opposed to killing them outright. "I enjoy watching them bleed to death," she said. "You have to savor the moment." She was a frequent drinking companion of Gifle, "the Ash-Spear". In 876, shortly after the Viking warrior and Hidden Ones agent Eivor assassinated Gifle, he ambushed Wuffa on a road in Thetford Forest, East Anglia, and he mortally wounded her after a short fight. Wuffa then had a vision of her sword drifting downstream and her following it, and she died of her wounds.
