Biography[]

Wu Kenneth Lee was born in China in 1960, and he was the brother of the first leader of the Lee Triad. Wu Lee would move to America with the triad during the early 1990s, and his first reported crime in the NYPD database was possession of stolen property in 1996. Wu Lee became known as a fearsome triad leader, being arrested in 2001 for grand larceny, in 2002 for arson, and in 2006 for extortion, and he had his own brother killed with the hope of becoming the new leader of the triad. Lee also became the leader of the Wonsu Nodong Korean gang, using them as his hitmen during his quest to seize power for himself. Lee vied for power against Chan Jaoming to replace Hsin Jaoming as the leader of New York City's Triads, and he made deals with criminals such as The Lost MC leader Billy Grey (who insulted Lee for his opposition to capitalism) and Ancelotti crime family loan shark Rocco Pelosi. In 2008, there were two shootouts at the Dragon's Heart Plaza in Chinatown; the first was an attack on Tony Prince and Luis Fernando Lopez for refusing to give Lee an alcohol license for his new club (as Pelosi had promised), while the second was the triad ambush of Billy Grey's rival Lost MC leader Johnny Klebitz. These shootouts marred the reputation of the club, but Lee remained a strong leader. He had his nephew Huang Lee pursue other gangs in revenge for Huang's father's murder, but Huang confronted Wu when he discovered that he was responsible for the murder. Huang Lee killed Wu Lee at his house after Wu injured Hsin Jaoming with the ceremonial Yu Jian Sword, and Huang Lee took over the triads from Jaoming.
