
Wu Junsheng (1863-June 1928) was a Chinese warlord who fought under Zhang Zuolin during the Warlord Era.
Biography[]
Wu Junsheng was born in 1863 in Changtu, Liaoning, China, and he joined a cavalry troop in 1880, crushing a failed Japanse-backed Manchurian uprising in 1912 and suppressing the Xinhai Revolution in the region. He aligned with Zhang Zuolin and Yuan Shikai, and he became an army commander in 1924. In June 1928, Wu Junsheng was killed when the Japanese bombed Zhang Zuolin's train, allowing for them to exert some control over Manchuria.
