Winston Goodman

Winston Goodman was an American evangelical priest and a Republican candidate for Mayor of Las Vegas in 2013.

Goodman campaigned under the slogan "One nation under salvation," running on a socially conservative platform. However, he was involved in debauchery, corruption, and property manipulation, and he was backed by the Mafia boss Frank Veliano. During the mayoral election, Veliano's rival Vera Montello had the ex-boxer Jason Malone destroy four of Goodman's electronic billboards. Malone later got close to Goodman in order to discover his weaknesses, taking care of troublesome union workers for him, participating in a charitable boat race, and protecting one of his accountants. Malone later betrayed Goodman and beat him into submission, forcing him to strip Veliano of many of his assets as Malone threatened to release incriminating information about him.
