
Wilson Nesbitt (1781-13 May 1861) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-SC 8) from 4 March 1817 to 3 March 1819, succeeding Thomas Moore and preceding John McCreary.
Biography[]
Wilson Nesbitt was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1781, and he became a farmer and iron foundry owner. He served in the state house from 1810 to 1814 and in the US House of Representatives from 1817 to 1819, after which he settled in Montgomery, Alabama and died in 1861.
