Willy Jovino (born 1931) was a Marcano crime family blackmail courier in the service of Frankie Bernard. Because Bernard favored discretion over intimidation at times, he had Jovino on his payroll, and Jovino was guarded by a crew of gunmen behind Joey's All American Diner in Downtown New Orleans. In 1968, Lincoln Clay killed Jovino's crew and injured him in a shootout behind the diner, and he forced Jovino to tell Clay the type of car that Bernard's bagmen drove; Clay then recruited Jovino into the Black Mob.
