
Willoughby Newton (2 December 1802-23 May 1874) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-VA 8) from 4 March 1843 to 3 March 1845, succeeding Henry A. Wise and preceding Robert M.T. Hunter. Born in Hague, he practiced law before serving in the state house from 1826 to 1832 and from 1861 to 1863 and in Congress.
