Willie Cicci was a Corleone crime family soldato and a member of Peter Clemenza (later Frank Pentangeli)'s regime.
Biography[]
Willie Cicci was born in New York City, New York, and he worked as an employee of the Genco Pura Olive Oil Company after 1942. He became a top enforcer and hitman for the Corleone crime family, becoming a high-ranking soldier in Peter Clemenza's regime. In 1955, Cicci was entrusted with the assassination of Carmine Cuneo, and he also drove Salvatore Tessio to the Embassy Club for execution at the hands of Aldo Trapani. Following Clemenza's death, he was a member of Frank Pentangeli's regime, acting as his personal bodyguard and right-hand man. He was struck by a car while attempting to take down Tony and Carmine Rosato following their assassination attempt on Pentangeli in 1959, and he later recovered to testify against Michael Corleone at a US Senate committee hearings in conjunction with his boss. He gave up information on the inner workings of the family, but he failed to conclusively pin any crime on Don Corleone. He was then sentenced to prison for admitting crimes that he committed in the past.
