
William Willis Garth (28 October 1828-25 February 1912) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-AL 8) from 4 March 1877 to 3 March 1879, preceding William M. Lowe.
Biography[]
William Willis Garth was born in Morgan County, Alabama in 1828, and he practiced law in Huntsville before serving as a Confederate States Army lieutenant-colonel during the American Civil War. After the war, he served in the US House of Representatives from 1877 to 1879, and he died in 1912.
