William Lawrence (2 September 1814-8 September 1895) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 17) from 4 March 1857 to 3 March 1859, succeeding Charles J. Albright and preceding Thomas Clarke Theaker. Born in Old Washington, Ohio, he farmed before serving in the state house in 1843, in the state senate from 1856 to 1857, in Congress, and in the state senate in 1867, 1885, and 1886.
