
William Kavanaugh Oldham (20 May 1865-6 May 1938) was the Democratic Governor of Arkansas from 8 to 13 March 1913, succeeding Joseph Taylor Robinson and preceding Junius Marion Futrell.
Biography[]
William Kavanaugh Oldham was born in Richmond, Kentucky in 1865, and he moved to Pettus, Arkansas in 1885 and became a successful cotton farmer. He served in the State House from 1907 to 1909, in the State Senate from 1911 to 1913, and as acting Governor in 1913, following Joseph Taylor Robinson's resignation. He died in Pettus in 1938.
