William Hoge (1762-25 September 1814) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-PA 12) from 4 March 1801 to 3 March 1803 (succeeding Albert Gallatin) and from PA-10 from 4 March 1803 to 15 October 1804 (succeeding Henry Woods and preceding John Hoge) and from 4 March 1807 to 3 March 1809 (succeeding John Hamilton and preceding Aaron Lyle).
Biography[]
William Hoge was born in Hogestown, Pennsylvania in 1762, and he and his brother founded the town of Washington. He served in the State House from 1796 to 1797 and in the US House of Representatives from 1801 to 1804 and from 1807 to 1809, and he died in 1814.
