
William Hebard (29 November 1800-20 October 1875) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-VT 2) from 4 March 1849 to 3 March 1853, succeeding Jacob Collamer and preceding Andrew Tracy. Born in Windham, Connecticut and raised in Randolph, Vermont, he worked as a prosecutor before serving as a probate judge, in the state legislature, on the state supreme court, as a lawyer in Chelsea, in Congress, and as a state legislator throughout the 1850s-1870s.
