
William Ferguson Colcock (5 November 1804-13 June 1889) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-SC 7) from 4 March 1849 to 3 March 1853, succeeding Robert Barnwell Rhett and preceding Edmund W.M. Mackey. Born in Beaufort, he practiced law in Coosawhatchie before serving in the state house from 1830 to 1847, in Congress, and as collector of the port of Charleston from 1853 to 1865.
