
William Edmond (28 September 1755 – 1 August 1838) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-CN) from 13 November 1797 to 3 March 1801, succeeding James Davenport and preceding Benjamin Tallmadge.
Biography[]
William Edmond was born in Woodbury, Connecticut in 1755, and he served in the American Revolutionary War before becoming a lawyer in 1780. He went on to serve in the State House from 1791 to 1797 and from 1801 to 1802, as well as in the US House of Representatives from 1797 to 1801. He died in 1838.
