
William Davis Veeder (19 May 1835-2 December 1910) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NY 2) from 4 March 1877 to 3 March 1879, succeeding John G. Schumaker and preceding Daniel O'Reilly.
Biography[]
William Davis Veeder was born in Guilderland, New York in 1835, and he practiced law in Brooklyn before serving in the state assembly from 1865 to 1866, as a Kings County surrogate from 1867 to 1877, and in the US House of Representatives from 1877 to 1879. He died in 1910.
