
William Dell Lindsley (25 December 1812-11 March 1890) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 13) from 4 March 1853 to 3 March 1855, succeeding James M. Gaylord and preceding John Sherman. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he moved to Buffalo, New York and later to Sandusky, Ohio, where he worked as a farmer. He served in Congress before returning to his farm.
