William Cost Johnson (14 January 1806-14 April 1860) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-MD 5) from 4 March 1837 to 3 March 1843, succeeding George C. Washington and preceding Jacob A. Preston. Born near Jefferson, he practiced law before serving in the House of Delegates from 1833 to 1835 and in Congress.
