
William Claiborne Dunlap (25 February 1798-16 November 1872) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-TN 13) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837, preceding Christopher H. Williams. Born in Knoxville, he practiced law before settling in Bolivar. He served in the First Seminole War, in Congress, as a judge from 1840 to 1849, in the state senate in 1851, 1853, and 1857, and in the state house from 1857 to 1859.
