William Carn Bowden

William Carn Bowden (1854-1898) was an American settler who lived in Capitan, New Mexico during the 1890s. In 1898, he came across the Arizona Kid as he rode away from killing the confrontational locals Gregory K. Mulhern and Gene P. Quick, and he drew a gun after suspecting Arizona of being a bandit. Arizona's hot temper led to him drawing his own pistol and shooting Bowden in the head, killing him.
