Wiglaf of Waecet (1028-1066) was an Anglo-Saxon general in the service of England at the time of the Norman conquest of England. In 1066, he raised a small company of wariiors in the West Country to repel the Norman invaders, but he was killed in battle with Robert of Mortain's slightly larger cavalry force near Watchet, Somerset.
