West Side Highway

The West Side Highway is a parkway running along the west side of Manhattan, New York City. Much of the highway is officially the Henry Hudson Parkway, but the whole highway is erroneously called the "West Side Highway" by residents and the media. The highway was completed on 12 October 1937, and the current Joe DiMaggio Highway section of the highway was completed in 2001. The highway stretches almost 15.5 miles, and it is one of the busiest highways in New York.
