Weeping Spaniard

Weeping Spaniard, formerly known as Salvador del Mundo, was a 40-gun flag galleon that served as the flagship of Caribbean pirate Jack Summer during the Golden Age of Piracy. The ship originally served in the Spanish Navy, but it was captured south of Santiago de Cuba on 6 December 1662 following a battle with Summer's ship Dutch Killer. Summer killed the ship's captain Fernand Tinoco and took it over, renaming it to Weeping Spaniard after his victims' families. His ship was very powerful due to its high firepower and its large crew size.
