Wealdmaer Geld-Remover

Wealdmaer Geld-Remover (died 877) was an Order of the Ancients zealot who was active in 9th-century Shropshire, England. Perhaps the most thoughtful of the Order's Zealots, Wealdmaer wrote a series of poems on the topic "heads lopped from shoulders." He was a boon companion of Tata the Dart, with whom he enjoyed a good chess game. In 877 AD, he was ambushed and cut down by the Viking warrior Eivor Wolf-Kissed near the ruins of Uriconium (Wroxeter), and, in his last words, he told Eivor that he had served the old gods Hretha, Eostre, and Saetere, and that to die in such a manner held honor, as killing, accoring to Wealdmaer, held all glory.
