Warwickshire is a county in the West Midlands of England, with Warwick serving as the county town and Nuneaton being the largest town. William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire in 1564, making the county famous. In 2016, Warwickshire had a population of 556,800 people. It borders Northamptonshire to the east, Leicestershire to the northeast, Staffordshire to the north, West Midlands to the northwest, Worcestershire to the west, Gloucestershire to the southwest, and Oxfordshire to the southeast.
