Wang Shuang

Wang Shuang (?-228) was an officer of Cao Wei. He fought in Cao Pi's invasion of Eastern Wu from 222-225 (in which he was captured) and in Zhuge Liang's Northern Expeditions, and he was killed at the Battle of Chencang.

Biography[]

As giant as a bear, it was said that Wang Shuang's face was black and his eyes were yellow. He fought with enormous strength and wielded a sixty-pound pole axe and a strongbow. He gained Cao Rui's trust and was appointed a Tiger General. Ordered by Cao Zhen to fight Shu forces at Mt. Qi, he was caught in Zhuge Liang's trap and killed.
