Wang Jian was a general of Qin during the Warring States Period.
Biography[]
Wang Jian was from Dongxiang, and he became a general of the State of Qin in the Warring States Period. Along with Bai Qi, Lian Po, and Li Mu, he was regarded as one of the best generals of Qin, and in 223 BC he conquered Chu, followed by Zhao and Yan in 222 BC. Despite facing over 1,000,000 troops, he succeeded in defeating his enemies, conquering three states for Qin.
