Walther Hoffmann (born in 1861) was a German colonial officer in China during the Boxer Rebellion.
Biography[]
Hoffmann was born in Germany in 1861. In 1900, Hoffmann took part in the Siege of Peking during the Boxer Rebellion. He defended the German Embassy with his Seebataillon marines until the 15th of August when the Eight Alliance Nations' troops arrived to the Legation Quarter.
