Sultan Wahiduzzaman Azad[]
Sultan Wahiduzzaman Azad was born on 24th March,1414. He was born of a middle class family as his father was a normal businessman. But he was a person of Extraordinary talent. He joined the court of the Bengal Sultanate and quickly gained popularity and High Status. He was promoted to be the Governor of Jashore in 1456. At the time of his courtsmanship, he met a Sipahi named Shamsher Ali Khan and they became great friends. During the Habshi Rule in Bengal the Sultanate fell into Anarchy thus paving the way to fortune for them.
He declared himself the Sultan of Bangal on 5th August,1458. After the battle of Sonargaon, East Bengal was unified under the Green Banner. It was a great victory for Khan
