Wadjet, also known as Uto, was an Ancient Egyptian goddess who was the divine protector of Lower and Upper Egypt. She also became known as the protector of kings and women in childbirth, having been said to have nursed the infant god Horus and, alongside Isis, protected him from his treacherous uncle Set.
