Vincent "Vinnie" Tommaso (23 June 1961 - 2000) was an Italian-American criminal and associate of the Leone crime family.
Biography[]
Vinnie Tommaso was born on June 23, 1961, in New York City to a poor Italian family in the Bronx. When he was a teenager he began dabbling in small crime with his best friend, Mike Ruggero. During the late 1990s, he and Mike became associates of the Leone crime family.
Alleged Death[]
In 2000, Vinnie faked his own death in a car bomb explotion in order to keep all the money they had saved for himself. After his "death" he began following Mike around the city to ensure he never found out the truth. After Mike discovered Vinnie faked his death thanks to a Cartel member named Cisco; he and Cisco went to find Vinnie, but they were led into an ambush and Cisco was killed. Mike then chased Vinnie down and shot him to death.
