Vincent "Vinnie the Slugger" Sinistra (13 September 1960 - 15 May 2004) was a Cuban crime boss who arrived in the United States from the Mariel Boatlift in the 1980s. His criminal career started with Cuban expatriates Sammy Falcone and Bobby Manillo to smuggle large amounts of cocaine from the Bahamas and into Florida.
In the early 2000s, Sinistra became a government informant entered the witness protection program. He was given a false identity and relocated to the suburban enclave of Del Mar in San Diego, California. The International Contract Agency was hired to eliminate Sinistra and he was assassinated in May 2004 by Agent 47.

Vincent Sinistra was born in Havana, Cuba on September 13th 1960 to a working class Cuban family. He became an associate for a Cuban crime syndicate at an early age and was forced to leave the country during the Mariel Boatlift where thousands of people, many of whom had criminal records, were deported to the United States.
