Vikhor Kuzmin (14 August 1938 - 19 August 1984), nicknamed "Stitch", was a Soviet agent for Perseus and former scientist in Project Nova. Kuzmin was tortured by CIA SAD Special Officer Russell Adler during the 1968 Rebirth Island assault, being imprisoned by Soviet Army Colonel Lev Kravchenko afterwards for his failure. Kuzmin was freed by Perseus and recruited to his spyring, eventually taking over as Perseus in 1984 after his mentor's death. After a ploy to brainwash Adler and activate sleeper agents across the United States with Nikita Dragovich's numbers program, Kuzmin was apprehended by Adler. In 1992, Kuzmin was freed by Adler, as he had valuable information on cracking a Soviet cypher used by Pantheon.
