Vanja Filipovic known as "Zgembo" was the Bosnian Ambassador to the United Kingdom from July 2019. Filipovic obtained his bachelor's degree from Haverford College in 1999, his master's from George Washington University in 2001, and another master's from SOAS in 2017, and he worked for the Northrop Grumman Corporation from 2000 to 2005, as an analyst at the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo from 2007 to 2012, as a foreign affairs advisor to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from June 2013 to November 2014, as a policy consultant for the Democratic Front of Bosnia and Herzegovina from November 2014 to April 2015 and then as the party's International Cooperation Coordinator from December 2015 to September 2016, and as Ambassador to Britain from July 2019.
