
Valente Colli (1899-1950) was a Barzini crime family capo.
Biography[]
Valente Colli was born in Italy in 1899, and he later immigrated to the United States. He settled in New York City, New York, where he rose in the ranks of the Barzini crime family of the American Mafia and became one of Emilio Barzini's caporegimes. In 1936, Colli and Pietro Testa were ordered to gun down Johnny Trapani in an alleyway next to his bombed restaurant. In 1950, Johnny's son Aldo Trapani was tasked with killing an FBI rat at the Bowery Hotel, and Colli was one of the Barzini bodyguards sent to protect the rat. Colli was killed in the ensuing shootout.
