Uusbail verch Bran (778-) was the daughter of Chief Bran of Fortriu and Caitrion and the wife of Ambrogio Galbaio.
Biography[]
Uusbail was born in 778 to the House of Uerturio, and she was the daughter of Chief Bran of Fortriu and Caitrion. She was from a family of Catholic Picts. Uusbail married Ambrogio Galbaio on 11 January 794, traveling to the Republic of Venice in present-day Italy, a very long distance away from her home country of Scotland.
