Upton Sheredine (1740-14 January 1800) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-MD 6) from 1791 to 1793, succeeding Daniel Carroll and preceding Gabriel Christie.

Biography[]

Upton Sheredine was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1740, and he moved to Frederick County with his family in 1754. He served as a delegate to the state constitutional convention in 1776 and became a member of the House of Delegates a year later; he went on to serve in the State Senate from 1776 to 1781, as a judge, and as a member of the US House of Representatives from 1791 to 1793. He died in 1800.
