The Unruoching(er)s were a Frankish noble family named for Unruoch II of Friuli, who established himself in Italy before 846. The family held power in Friuli, and his grandson Berengar of Friuli would become King of Italy and later Holy Roman Emperor. Berengar left no heirs, but his daughter Gisela of Friuli's descendants with Adalbert I of Ivrea are counted among the Unruochingers.
